We include a photo eye detection system on every automatic access gate that we sell. A “photo eye” is another name for “photoelectric sensor”, which is used to detect the distance, presence, or absence of an object. Photo eyes are designed to not only protect your vehicles, but more importantly they are designed to protect children from becoming entrapped in the mechanism.

An option you may want to consider with your automatic access gate is a wireless keypad, which can grant access to guests, landscape workers, etc. through the use of a security code.
